Construction works for a new Maggie’s centre, which will provide support for people with cancer, within the grounds of the Royal Free Hospital will begin on Monday 25 October.
The construction team will begin preparing for construction from the week commencing 18 October and be putting safety measures in place such as fencing and vibration and noise monitors.
The Royal Free London has been working closely with Maggie’s on this exciting project and the centre is due to be completed by the end of 2022.
Maggie's is a national charity which provides support to people with cancer, their families and friends. Maggie’s centres are built in the grounds of specialist NHS cancer hospitals and offer social, emotional and practical help to those whose lives are affected by cancer.
