We still have some spaces available for our annual members’ meeting, where we will celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our staff over the past 12 months. It will take place on Tuesday 10 September in the Sir William Wells Atrium at the Royal Free Hospital from 6 to 7.30pm.

This event is open to the public and those who are not members of our trust are welcome to attend.

During the evening, we will reflect on our achievements and share our ambitions, including our five-year clinical strategy, which sets out how we will deliver the best of the NHS for our patients, as well as provide an update on our operational and financial performance.

We will showcase some of the groundbreaking research taking place at the Royal Free London. Professor Alan Salama, consultant nephrologist, and Nicole Matthews, a Royal Free Hospital patient, will discuss how a vaccine that protects kidney transplant patients against urine infections has made a real difference to Nicole’s life.

We will also highlight the importance of educating and training the future NHS workforce and our current staff. Satianand Groodoyal, endoscopy nurse at the Royal Free Hospital, will share his journey to becoming a registered nurse through our trust’s apprenticeship programme.

There will be a chance to speak with other attendees and governors before and after the meeting. The incredible work of our teams will be on display, with a chance to meet our staff, share your feedback and learn about our services including breast screening, bowel cancer and organ transplantation.

This event is free to attend, and refreshments will be provided. Spaces are limited and you will need to register to attend. To book your place, please contact rf.membership@nhs.net by 12pm on Monday 9 September.

We look forward to seeing you there.
