DecNorthMids-046.jpgWe are delighted to have come to an agreement over the future of continued sexual health services in Enfield.

North Middlesex University Hospital and Enfield Council will work closely together to ensure we provide the very best care to residents across the borough, improving health outcomes, particularly among more vulnerable groups and young people.

We will ensure residents are updated on future arrangements.

The provision of sexual health and contraception services for Enfield under Enfield Clinics Health Organisation (ECHO) will continue at its two main locations: The Town Clinic on Burleigh Way and at White Lodge Medical Practice on Chase Side.

A further location through a satellite clinic at the Alexander Pringle Centre (APC), North Middlesex University Hospital is currently available one day a week on a Friday.

Should residents have sexual health and/or contraception needs including the fitting and removal of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC), they can:

•    access the ECHO clinics in the first instance www.echoclinics.nhs.uk

•    use the London Sexual Health e-service www.shl.uk for testing if they do not have symptoms or have mild conditions or

•    access primary care for LARC in the community.

Sexual health services in Enfield are provided by North Mid, formerly North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, which, on 1 January 2025, became part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
