Resurfacing works at Barnet Hospital car park

Resurfacing works are due to take place in the main patient car park at Barnet Hospital. Work will begin on Saturday 30 November and last three days.

The work will affect approximately 20 disabled bays with temporary disabled bays created in the drop-off zones to replace those out of action. There will be no designated drop-off zones during this period.

Signage will be in place to indicate which areas have been temporarily designated disabled parking. Staff will also be patrolling on Monday 2 December - when the car park will be busier - to assist with directing visitors.

There will also be a two-way traffic light system in place on Wellhouse Lane between 9pm and 5am on Monday 2 December due to roadworks, and priority will be given to emergency vehicles. Bus routes will not be affected.

Line painting work at Royal Free Hospital entrance car park

The visitor car park in front of the main entrance at the Royal Free Hospital will be closed from 9pm on Friday 29 November until the evening of Saturday 30 November. This is to allow for line painting work to take place.

Parking bays outside of the Pears Building will also be closed during this time.

Visitors will be able to access the Pears multi-storey car park level 1, which will remain open, via the Rowland Hill entrance.
