The hospital is in Vicarage Road, next to Watford Football Club's ground, but the main entrance for those driving to the site is via Thomas Sawyer Way.
Getting to us
By bus
Bus routes 10, 320, 520, W1 and the W21 all serve the hospital.
By train
Watford High Street, Bushey stations (London Overground services) and Watford Junction (London Northwestern Railway and Southern Railway) are all a short bus or taxi ride from the hospital.
Parking is free for stays of less than 30 minutes. At all other times, parking charges are as follows:
Up to 1 hour: £3.50
Up to 2 hours: £5.00
Up to 3 hours: £7.00
Up to 4 hours: £8.00
Up to 5 hours: £9.00
Up to 6 hours: £10.00
Up to 12 hours: £12.00
12 to 24 hours: £15.00
Disabled parking for Blue Badge holders is available, as well as electric vehicle charging.
Watford General Hospital has disabled parking and step free access, and the building is wheelchair accessible with disabled toilets inside.
A signing service and braille translation service is available, and there is an induction loop.
The Dining Room restaurant is open every day from 7am to 8pm.
The All Good Coffee Company, next to The Dining Room, is open every day from 7am to 8pm.
