The team also provide minor surgery for ingrowing toenails and promote good foot health.
Our team sees adults and children who live in Enfield and people registered with an Enfield GP who live within half a mile of the borough boundary for:
-
a comprehensive range of skin and nail care for people with an at risk or high-risk foot profile
-
short-term interventions for people with musculoskeletal foot problems
-
nail surgery
You will be offered an appointment on a one-to-one basis or within our group health education sessions.
Our team uses a validated tool to assess clinical risk and need to determine whether you need ongoing skin or nail care.
A very limited home service is provided to patients with a high-risk foot profile if you are either chair or bedbound. All other patients will be seen at one of our clinics.
Referrals are accepted from GPs and health or social care professionals via email to northmid.
Patients whose referrals are accepted will receive an opt-in letter close to their appointment date asking them if they still require the consultation.
