Dr Alexandra Pender

Biography

Dr Pender qualified from Cambridge University in 2006 and undertook general medical training in East Anglia and London. She began specialist training at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in 2011. Dr Pender undertook translational and laboratory research at the Institute of Cancer Research from 2013-16 leading to a PhD. She completed specialist training in 2018 followed by an immunotherapy postgraduate fellowship. Her research interests include circulating tumour DNA in lung cancer and clinical trials.
