Biography
Dr. MacBrayne graduated from University College London (UCL) medical school in 2008 and subsequently undertook postgraduate training in London, undertaking an MD(Res) at Queen Mary, University of London, researching digital health techniques to support rheumatoid arthritis care.
Since 2022, she has been a substantive consultant at North Middlesex University Hospital. Her areas of specialist interest are inflammatory arthritis and axial spondyloarthritis, biologics care, musculoskeletal ultrasound, osteoporosis and applications of digital health. She provides inpatient care to patients with acute rheumatological conditions including complex connective tissue diseases and HLH.
She hold a PG(Cert) in Clinical Education from Kings College London and is deputy director for undergraduate medical education at the North Middlesex, working as a personal academic tutor and honorary clinical lecturer for UCL medical school.
