Biography

Dr Gubbay is a consultant in pain management and anaesthesia at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, working across the hospital sites. He graduated from Leeds University Medical School in 2001 with degrees in medicine and psychology in relation to medicine. He completed his postgraduate training in anaesthesia and critical care through the Central London School of Anaesthesia, followed by his postgraduate training in pain medicine at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. During his training, Dr Gubbay undertook research at the Royal Marsden and developed an interest in cancer pain.

Dr Gubbay offers both a scientific and holistic approach to your suffering from pain, whatever the cause. From reviewing your pain medication and advising how to minimize side effects, to his comprehensive rehabilitation skills and interventional procedures to facilitate reintegration, he delivers a high standard of care that is both individualised and patient centred.
