Dr Dev Chauhan

Biography

Dr Chauhan is a consultant physician and geriatrician appointed at the Royal Free Hospital in 2023. He completed his specialist training in North West London and is dual accredited in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.

He is the clinical lead for frailty and works with the Triage and Rapid Elderly Assessment Team (TREAT) at the Royal Free Hospital. The aim of the service is to provide a rapid access, one stop assessment and diagnostics to avoid an unplanned presentation of older patients to the emergency department.

The service works closely with community teams to ensure patients receive the appropriate support and monitoring at home.
