Biography
Dr Melcher is a consultant clinical oncologist at North Middlesex and Princess Alexandra Hospitals since 2006, specialising in lower GI and prostate cancers.
She obtained a first-class degree from Oxford University in psychology in 1990 and then went on to study medicine at St Mary's Hospital (now Imperial medical school).
She trained in Oncology across north and central London and became a consultant in 2006
With a keen interest in research, she is a principal investigator/co-investigator for several trials.
Dr Melcher is passionate about education and is the training programme director for clinical oncology in our region.
