Biography
I am an experienced consultant anaesthetist with subspecialty interests in obstetric anaesthesia and complex major surgery. With an interest in legal medicine, I have been a medical examiner since 2021 and have led several serious incident investigations. I gained the diploma in legal medicine with distinction in 2023.
I am the clinical lead for kidney transplant anaesthesia, and I run a high risk preoperative assessment clinic. Recently, I led a multi-disciplinary team in the development of an enhanced recovery programme for kidney transplant recipients and I presented the results internationally. I am widely published with original research in peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and I am the co-author of a FRCA examination textbook.
