Biography
Dr Perez-Machado provides a consultant opinion on the entire range of gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytology samples, provides on-site cytology reporting for one-stop breast clinics leads an ad hoc, rapid fine-needle aspiration clinic service and also provides on-site cytology support for EBUS-FNA and EUS-FNA procedures.
He underwent a period of specialist training in FNA cytology at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He has years of experience reporting histopathology cases from the uterus, ovaries, cervix, lung, gastrointestinal system and thyroid. He has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings.
