Biography

Dr Subhra Chowdhury was appointed as a consultant in clinical oncology at The Princess Alexandra NHS Trust in August 2014.

She was initially full-time specialising in thoracic, breast and acute oncology and since October 2019 has been part-time specialising solely in thoracic oncology and SABR to oligometastatic disease.

Dr Chowdhury has a particular interest in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as 4D planning, image guided radiation therapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy.

She was cancer lead at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust 2017-2019 and led a number of service improvement projects.
