Dr Subhra Chowdhury

Biography

Dr Subhra Chowdhury was appointed as a consultant in clinical oncology at the Princess Alexandra NHS Trust in August 2014. Dr Chowdhury has expertise in a wide variety of oncological treatments and is part of the acute oncology team. She specialises in the systemic treatment of lung and breast cancer including targeted molecules and immunotherapy. She has a particular interest in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as 4D planning, image guided radiation therapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy. She is actively involved in research, teaching and recruits into national and commercial clinical trials. She has led in a number of service improvement projects and been in leadership roles.
