Biography
Mr Mirnezami is a consultant colorectal surgeon specialising in the management of cancers of the colon, rectum and anus and in the management of midgut neuroendocrine tumours (NETs).
He is the lead for the colorectal cancer tumour board at the Royal Free Hospital, and serves on the United Kingdom and Ireland Neuroendocrine Tumour Society advisory board.
Mr Mirnezami is firmly committed to evidence-based practice and high-quality research and undertook a PhD at Imperial College London focused on cancer metabolism.
He maintains an active research portfolio with a focus on gastrointestinal cancers and serves on the editorial board of two leading cancer journals.
