Shiv Kumar Pandian

Biography

Mr. Shiv Kumar Pandian MBBS, MS, MD, FRCS(Ed), FRCS(Urol), is a Consultant Urological Surgeon in the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, London. He is the Cancer and MDT lead for Urology.

He trained in General Surgery in India and in Urology in the UK. He did his research for higher degree on the 'Modulation of growth control mechanisms in prostate cancer cells by dietary fatty acids' in the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

He has worked in different sub-specialties of Urology in the NHS hospitals in Scotland, North Wales and England, for the last 32 years. His current clinical interests are Advanced General Urology and Urological Cancer Diagnostics. He has published and presented extensively in Urology.

He is a co-opted member of the BAUS Section of Oncology. He is also part of faculty for the BAUS and Northwick Park Hospital FRCS(Urol) exam training courses and the Urology Boot Camp in Leeds.

He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at the St. George’s University School of Medicine, Granada, West Indies.
